Thank you for your interest in The Atlanta Music Teachers Association. To become a member of AMTA, GMTA, and MTNA, you may conveniently register online at www.mtna.org or call MTNA at (888) 512-5278.

Membership Categories:

• Active membership is open to all individuals professionally engaged in any field of musical activity. Such membership provides the privileges of participation in the activities of AMTA, holding office and voting.
• Patron membership is open to all persons not professionally engaged in any field of musical activity who wish to support the programs of the AMTA. Such membership provides the admission to all meetings of AMTA but does not provide the right to hold office or vote. (Membership at the state level is not required.)
• Student membership is open to all college music students. Privileges include attending all meetings of AMTA and participating in the various activities except entering students in GMTA/MTNA competitions and does not provide the right to vote or hold office, or to apply for state or national certification.

Dues:

The membership year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30 of the following year.
