Contributions are vital to any non-profit organization, such as our AMTA. We are a local chapter of the Music Teachers National Association and the Georgia Music Teachers Association. AMTA invites acclaimed professionals to present for our bi-monthly programs, perform recitals, conduct masterclasses, and judge at our competitions. Our events, such as Romantic and Impressionistic Piano Competition, Atlanta Piano Festival, and Local Auditions, are paid for by our own members and their students; AMTA sponsors its Programs and Masterclasses with outstanding musicians/pedagogues. We also help provide various educational and competitive opportunities for local students, including monetary awards/scholarships. One of our latest awards is the Betty Nolting Award to a best senior winner of RIPC. AMTA is eager to continue its mission to promote the best music educational and performing traditions and develop effective educational methods for current and future generations of Atlanta Metro Area citizens.
Let it be the bright musical present and future for our children and adults!
AMTA plans to use your donations toward providing:
