Notes from a Member
September 12th's presentation on Bach's phrasing and articulation was highly enlightening, and will most certainly take my teaching and my own playing to a new level. It was very interesting to see Ms. Parmentier's own detailed notes on phrasing, and also reminded us how it correlated and was dependent on how a vocalist of the time would articulate words and phrases and how a string player would bow.
I was also pleased to meet more members of our AMTA community. Everyone comes from very different cultures and backgrounds, which is a great asset for us as a body of music teachers.- M. Williams
